About J Selig Cooper DDS PA

J Selig Cooper DDS PA is a dentist in Greensboro, North Carolina. It is listed at 1515 Yanceyville St, Greensboro, NC 27405, which places it among the local businesses of Greensboro that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

In Greensboro, popular practices book routine cleanings weeks ahead, so call early or ask to be put on a cancellation list; emergency and walk-in clinics are the exception. Across North Carolina, a new-patient exam with X-rays and a cleaning typically runs from about $150 to $350 without insurance, and many offices publish new-patient specials on their websites. Check the listing for hours, whether the office takes your insurance or Medicaid, languages spoken, wheelchair access and parking, then confirm by phone: insurance networks and providers change more often than the listings do.

Hours are published for 4 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–5 pm. It is closed on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (336) 379-9939. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, cooperdentistgso.com.

With 4.2 out of 5 on Google from 113 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for dentists in Greensboro. Recent reviews are the best guide.

Greensboro is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Greensboro follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Dr. Cooper is my guy! Excellent staff and support. Dr. Cooper is the type of individual that's approachable in and out of the office. We have more than a Dr to patient bond but one of mutual respect and cordialness. I had to have alot of extensive work done to my teeth and he has given me the best treatment and treatment plan along with individuals he works with outside of his practice. He is currently treating my son and is doing a wonderful job with him and creating a bond with the younger generation. I highly recommend him as a Dentist that will do you right!

Absolutely terrible experience. I stayed with this practice for years while trying to find a new dentist. The office feels extremely money driven. I had bonding done on a tooth that was poorly performed, and when it failed, the dentist attempted to blame me even though his work clearly made the issue worse. I was told my tooth was going to fall out and was pressured to pay immediately for a crown. I sought a second opinion, and another dentist confirmed that the bonding was done poorly and that my tooth looked terrible as a result of the work performed. I was also told that a crown was not the immediate or necessary treatment. The dental assistants were consistently kind, but cleanings were often painful. The waiting room is dark and uninviting, and scheduling appointments was unpleasant due to rude and dismissive front desk staff. As someone who works in the healthcare field, I am relieved that I no longer have to receive care from this practice and would not recommend it to others.

Our family and I have had a difficult time finding a provider who accepted our insurance and provided excellent care. From the moment we spoke with Pam to book our appointments, she treated us with dignity and demonstrated the utmost professionalism. She clearly set expectations for what the experience would be like and was able to schedule us promptly for new patient appointments so as not to interfere with the start of school. Upon arrival on appointment day, both the exterior and interior of the office were tidy, and the check-in process was seamless. Each staff member greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel welcome. Dr. Cooper was extremely knowledgeable and had a wonderful bedside manner. His treatment plan and recommendations were spot-on, and we look forward to returning in the upcoming week with our daughter. We highly recommend the office of Dr. J. Selig Cooper for all your dental needs.

The staff at Dr. Cooper’s dentists was amazing. Everyone was polite, professional, and welcoming from the wonderful women at the front desk, to Cynthia who was my primary hygienist, and to Dr. Cooper. My experience here has been more than satisfactory. This practice genuinely by far the best dentistry I’ve been to in years. They caught my periodontal disease in its early stages and treated it accordingly. Dr. Cooper and Cynthia explained every step of my periodontal cleaning in detail. They were also transparent about the process and answered every question I asked. I will be a returning patient and will recommend their practice to anyone in need of a great dentist.
